Two waggons going in opposite directions brought up the stones: P. δύο ἅμαξαι ἐναντίαι ἀλλήλαις τοὺς λίθους ἐπῆγον (Thuc. 1, 93, cf. Ar., Av. 1127). On the opposite side of: P. and V. πέραν (gen.).
