   A well-twisted, ἐϋστρόφῳ οἰὸς ἀώτῳ with well-twisted wool (i.e. a sling), Il.13.599,716 (ἐϋστρεφεῖ Aristarch.).    II easily turned, manageable, νῆες E.IA293 (Sup., lyr.); turning easily on a pivot, Hero Aut.26.2: metaph., ζῷον, of man, Pl. Criti.109c; πρὸς τὰς ἀπαντήσεις εὔ. λόγος Plu.2.803f; τὸ εὔ. τοῦ φθέγματος Philostr.VS2.10.5. Adv. -φως, τέθριππον ἕλκων APl.4.385, cf. Alex.Trall.1.16.
