Il.5.874; ἀναιδήτῳ ἰ. with shameless will, A.R.4.360: acc. only in Il.15.41 δι' ἐμὴν ἰ. II once in Trag., for the sake of, ἰότατι γάμων A.Pr.558 (lyr.).—Hsch. explains it by βουλήσει, αἰτία, ὀργῇ, χάριτι.
