Ar.Ra.207; κύκνου δίκην τὸν ὕστατον μέλψασα θανάσιμον γόον A.Ag.1444: hence, metaph., minstrel, bard, AP7.19 (Leon.).    II kind of ship, prob. from its prow being curved like a swan's neck, Nicostr.Com. 10.    III eye-salve, Gal.12.708, 759, etc. [ῡ by position in Ep.; ῠ Pi.O.2.82, Theoc.16.49 in pr. n.
