ἄζω (B),

   A cry , groan, sigh, S.Fr.980; so perh. in Med., εἴ τις . . ἄζηται κραδίην ἀκαχήμενος Hes.Th.99.    2 breathe hard, Nicoch. 19. (Perh. ἅζω (from the sound ha!) in this sense.)
