   A fill up a number, τὰς τετρακοσίας μυριάδας Hdt.7.29.    II satisfy, fulfil, in Pass., ἀποπλησθῆναι τὸν χρησμόν Id.8.96.    2 satisfy, appease, ἀ. αὐτοῦ τὸν θυμόν Id.2.129, cf. Th.7.68; ἀ. τὰς ἐπιθυμίας Pl. Grg.492a,al.    3 satisfy an inquirer, τινά Id.Cra.413b.
