[Seite 1412] κείνη, κεῖνο, ion. u. p. = ἐκεῖνος, jener, bei Hom. die häufigere Form; auch bei Pind. nicht selten, so wie bei den Tragg. nach Versbedürfniß statt der längeren Form; vgl. Ellendt lex. Soph. – Einzeln auch in Prosa, vgl. Lob. zu Phryn. p. 7 ff; Bornemann zu Xen. Conv. 4, 12 u. Ast zu Plat. Legg. p. 22. – Bei den Kretern hieß κεῖνος der Geliebte.
