   A tamarisk (in Greece, Tamarix tetrandra; in Egypt, Tamarix articulata), θῆκεν ἀνὰ μυρίκην [ῐ] Il. 10.466; μυρίκης ἐριθηλέας ὄζους ib.467; δόρυ . . κεκλιμένον μυρίκῃσιν 21.18, cf. h.Merc.81, Nic.Th.612; but πτελέαι τε καὶ ἰτέαι ἠδὲ μυρῖκαι Il.21.350, cf.
