ἡ, Com. word (with parody on τραγῳδία) for κωμῳδία, Ar.Ach.499,500 (variously expld. by Gramm.: either because the actors smeared their faces with
A lees (τρύξ) or because new wine was given as a prize, cf. Sch.adloc., Anon.Proll.Com. in CGFp.7 K., etc.; or because comedy was acted at the season of vintage (τρύγη), Ath. 2.40b).
