P. 5, 23 nennt Ἀπολλώνιον ἄθ. den Festreigen des Apollo; δελφῖνες, ἀθύρματα Νηρηΐδων Arion 11, Freude der Nereiden. Aehnlich Sp. D., ῥόδον ἀφροδισίων ἄθ., Zierde, Anacr. 53, 8; καλὸν ἄθ. κάτθεσαν En. ad. 125 (VI, 37), ein schönes Weihgeschenk. Die Atticisten ziehen es dem παιγνίον vor und wollen ἅθυρμα schreiben; Cratin. nannte nach Suid. so seine Komödien.
