It snows, v.: Ar. and P. νίφει (Xen.), P. ἐπινίφει (Xen.).

Had it not snowed all over Thrace: Ar. εἰ μὴ κατένιψε χιόνι τὴν Θρᾴκην ὅλην (Ach. 138).
