[Seite 91] ές (nach B. A. p. 380 ἁλεής), ὕπνος, wär mender, erquickender Schlaf, Soph. Phll. 847. Bei Hes. O. 491 wird jetzt richtig ἐπ' ἀλέα λέσχην gelesen, doch ziehen einige Erkl. die vulg. ἐπαλέα vor.

ἀλεής: -ές, ὅμοιον τῷ ἀλεεινός, θερμὸς ἐν τῷ ἡλίῳ, ὕπνος, Σοφ. Φ. 859 (λυρ.): - οὕτως ἔχουσι τὰ χειρόγραφα καὶ οὕτως ἑρμηνεύει ὁ Σχολ., ἀλλ’ ἡ εἰκασία τοῦ Reiske, ἀδεής, εἶναι λίαν πιθανή.
