ἴγδισμα: τό, (ἐκ τοῦ ἰγδίζω, ὅπερ δὲν ἀπαντᾷ) κοπάνισμα ἐντὸς ἰγδίου· - εἶδος ὀρχήσεως, καθ’ ἣν οἱ πόδες συνεχῶς ἐπλήττοντο ἐπὶ τοῦ ἐδάφους ἢ κατὰ τὸν Μέγαν Ἐτυμολ. (464. 51), «εἶδος ὀρχήσεως ἐν ᾗ ἐλύγιζον ἐμφερῶς τῷ δοίδυκι». - Κατὰ Σουΐδ.: «ἴγδισμα, λύγισμα».
