HA583a11:—Pass., to be exuded or evaporated, Id.Mete.385b8, Sens. 443a14.    2 intr. in Act., = Pass., Id.Mete.384b9, Pr.930b34.    II deprive of moisture, suck dry, Id.HA594a13; ἐ. τὴν ὑγρότητα Thphr. CP4.8.4 (cod. Urb.):—Pass., ἐξικμασμένη τροφή digested, Pl.Ti.33c, Arist.PA675b31; τὰ παλαιὰ σπέρματα ἐξίκμασται τὴν δύναυιν Id.Pr. 924b30; lose all moisture, Thphr.HP5.7.4, 7.5.1; of athletes, τοῦ περιττοῦ -άζεσθαι Philostr.Gym.58.    III in E.Andr.398, ἐξικμάζω seems to be corrupt (perh. for ἐξιχμάζω).
