[Seite 1191] τό, der den Sonnenstrahlen (εἵλη) ausgesetzte Platz, wo man Etwas trocknen kann, Trockenplatz; bei Hom. nur Od. 7, 123, ἀλωῆς ἕτερον μὲν θειλόπεδον λευρῷ ἐνὶ χώρῳ τέρσεται ἠελίῳ, wo die Trauben trocknen in der Sonne; vgl. Ep. ad. 130 (VI, 169); Ἠχὼ γὰρ δήεις τοῖσδ' ἐνὶ θειλοπέδοις Comet. 3 (IX, 586); bei Diosc., wie es scheint, auch geflochtene Gestelle zum Trocknen der Trauben.
