ίδος, ἡ, prob. glossed by ἡ μέλαινα καὶ ὑπέρυθρος, Hsch. (καύσαλις cod.); perh. to be read for καυκαλίς, of a kind of σμύρνα, Dsc.1.64 (and so in Orib. 12 s.v.), and for καυχαλίς (q.v.).
