γαυριῶ (-άω) (AM) γαύρος
1. υπερηφανεύομαι, καμαρώνω (α. «ὥσπερ ἵπποις γαυριῶσι καὶ φρυαττομένοις πρὸς τοὺς ἀγῶνας» — άλογα που καμαρώνουν και φρουμάζουν για να πάρουν μέρος στους αγώνες, Πλούτ.
