A σίνηαι Od.12.139: Ion. impf. σινέσκετο, -οντο, Hes.Fr.117, Od.6.6: fut. σινήσομαι f.l. in Hp.Mul.1.52: aor. 3pl. ἐσίναντο Hdt.8.31, -έατο Id.7.147 codd.:—codd. give a form σινέομαι in Hdt.4.123, 5.81, Hp. Morb.4.41,53, etc.; but σίνομαι is the only form in Hom., and prob. should be restored everywhere:—Act. σίνω Ion. for βλάπτω acc. to Gal.15.662; σίνομαι Pass., IG22.1126.42 (Amphict. Delph.), Orph.
