Mantoulidis Etymological

-ῶ (=κάνω θόρυβο). Ἀπό τό ρόθος (=πάταγος) πού εἶναι λέξη ἠχοποιημένη ἀπό τό θόρυβο τῶν κυμάτων. Παράγωγα ἀπό τό ρόθος: ροθιάζω (=κωπηλατῶ), ρόθιος (=ὁρμητικός), τά ρόθια (=κύματα), ροθιάς (=αὐτή πού κάνει πάταγο).
