κέδρον: τό, = κεδρίς, κῶνος, καρπὸς κέδρου, «θηλυκῶς μὲν τὸ δένδρον, οὐδετέρως δὲ ὁ καρπὸς» Θωμ. Μάγιστ., Ἐτυμολ. Μέγ., Ἡσύχ., καὶ ὁ Φώτ. 152, 7 «κέδρον οὐδετέρως λέγουσι τὸ θυμίαμα»· ὁ Ἀμμών. μόνος ἀναφέρει κέδρος, ὁ, ἐπὶ ταύτης τῆς ἐννοίας· πρβλ. ὅμως Κωμ. Ἀνώνυμ. 5, ἔνθα ἀντὶ τοῦ τὰς κέδρους φαίνεται ὅτι δέον νὰ ἀναγνώσωμεν τούς.
