Pursue: P. and V. διώκειν, P. καταδιώκειν, ἐπιδιώκειν. Heed, obey: P. and V. ἐφέπεσθαι (dat.); see obey. Follow (a profession, etc.): P. and V. ἀσκεῖν, ἐπιτηδεύειν, Ar. and P. μελετᾶν. Follow (a person's example): P. ἀκολουθεῖν (dat. of person) (Dem. 461). Follow (an argument, etc.): P. ἕπεσθαι (dat.), ἀκολουθεῖν (dat.), παρακολουθεῖν (dat.), συνακολουθεῖν (dat.).
