Nach Poll. 7, 96 u. Harpocr. bei Ar. Th. frg. 6 περισκελίδες, u. bei Lysias eiserne Ringe, womit die Thürslüget an den Angeln festgehalten wurden, damit sie nicht ausgehoben werden konnten; vgl. Iuvenal. 3, 304. – Hippocr. sagte auch τὰ ἀμφίδεα, der äußerste Saum; die Form ἀμφίδεες ist aber sehr zw.
