[ΕΤΥΜΟΛ. Ο τ. κοχλιάζων δίνει την εντύπωση μετοχής ενεστ. ενός αμάρτυρου ρ. κοχλιάζω (< κοχλίας). Ο παρλλ. τ. κοχλιάξων σχηματίστηκε πιθ. με επίδραση του ἄξων.
