καπρία: ἡ, τὸ μέρος τῆς μήτρας τῶν θηλειῶν, ὑῶν ἐν ᾧ τὰ ᾠάρια· τοῦτο ἐκτέμνουσιν ἐνίοτε ὅπως ἐμποδίσωσι τὴν πρὸς τὴν ὀχείαν ὁρμὴν τοῦ ζῴου, ἐκτέμνεται δὲ καὶ ἡ καπρία τῶν θηλειῶν ὑῶν, ὥστε μηκέτι δεῖσθαι ὀχείας, ἀλλὰ πιαίνεσθαι ταχέως Ἀριστ. π. τὰ Ζ.
