Strong: P. and V. μέγας, ἰσχυρός, V. κραταιός, ὄβριμος, ἐγκρατής (in P. only used of places), σθεναρός, P. ἐρρωμένος, Ar. and V. παγκρατής, καρτερός (in P. only used of places). Mightier: use also V. φέρτερος (no positive).
