With one's feelings dulled: P. and V. ἀμβλύς, P. ἀνάλγητος. Become insensible, faint, v.: P. λιποψυχεῖν, V. προλείπειν, ἀποπλήσσεσθαι; see faint. Grow numb: P. ναρκᾶν.
