   A one Sibyl (Σίβυλλαι καὶ Βάκιδες, Arist.Pr.954a36, is no exception), first localized at Erythrae or Cumae, Id.Mir.838a6; later, others are mentioned, cf. Str.14.1.34, Paus.10.12.1 sqq., Sch.Pl.l.c., Buresch Klaros p.120. [Σίβιλλα IG22.1534.85 (iv B.C.).]
