adverb, disorderly: ἀτάκτως περιπατεῖν, which is explained by the added καί μή κατά τήν παράδοσιν ἥν παρέλαβε παῥ ἡμῶν; cf. μηδέν ἐργαζόμενοι, ἀλλά περιεργαζόμενοι. (Often in Plato.)
