   A back-flowing, refluent, Homeric epith. of Ocean, regarded as a stream encircling the earth and flowing back into itself, Il.18.399, Od.20.65.

(ῥέω): back-flowing; of the stream of Oceanus that returns into itself, Il. 18.399†.
