ὁ, Syros, one of the Cyclades, Str.10.5.8; called Σῠρίη in Od.15.403 (acc. to Str. l.c.: but more probably Σῠρίη is Sicily and the name is connected with Σῠράκουσαι); later Σύρα, Suid.
