τρῠγῳδός: (τρύξ, ᾠδὴ) κυρίως ὁ τὸ γλεῦκος ἢ τὴν τρύγα ᾄδων, τὸ ἀρχαιότερον ἀλλ’ ἧττον ἔντιμον ὄνομα ἀντὶ κωμῳδός, Ἀριστοφ. Σφ. 650. 1537· ἢ διότι οἱ ᾄδοντες ἤλειφον τὰ ἑαυτῶν πρόσωπα διὰ τρυγὸς ἐπὶ τὸ γελοιότερον (peruncti faecibus ora, Hor. Α.
