When we ranged our armed forces against each other, extending our line in front: V. ἐπεὶ γὰρ ἀλλήλοισιν ὁπλίτην στρατὸν κατὰ στόμʼ ἐκτείνοντες ἀντετάξαμεν (Eur., Heracl. 800).
