Etymology : Nicht sicher erklärt. Als Krankheitsverb auf -ιάω (Schwyzer 732) von *ὥραξ etwa Ohnmacht, Schwindel, wie νέαξ, πλούταξ, κνώδαξ u.a. (zum Typus Björck Alpha impurum 260ff.) von einem Nomen, u.zw. *ὧρος od. *ὥρα, das als *ϝῶρος, *ϝώρα mit awno. ōrar f. pl.
