Κατ' άλλους, βασίλιννα < βασιλεύς + -ιννα, κατάλ. πιθ. προελληνικής προελεύσεως, που χρησίμευσε στον σχηματισμό θηλυκών κυρίων ονομάτων ή λέξεων θρησκευτικού περιεχομένου.
