οἰνοθήρας: -ου, ὁ, φυτόν τι, οὗ ἡ ῥίζα ἔχει ὀσμὴν οἴνου ἢ ἐχρησίμευεν εἰς παρασκευὴν οἴνου· ἀλλ’ ἐν τοῖς ἀρίστοις τῶν Ἀντιγράφ., τοῦ Θεοφρ. π. Φυτ. Ἱστ. 9. 19. 1, φέρεται ὀνοθήρας, ὡς παρὰ Διοσκ. 4. 118 καὶ Γαλην., ὅστις δίδει εἰς αὐτὸ καὶ τὰ ὀνόματα, ὀνάγρα, ὄνουρις (ἢ ὀνόθουρις)· ὁ Πλίνιος καλεῖ αὐτὸ onothera καὶ onotheris.
