English (LSJ)
εσσα, εν (or -όεις, εν if Πύλος (q.v.) be fem.), Ep. for ἀμ-, (ἄμαθος) sandy, epithet of the Elean Pylos, Πύλον ἠμαθόεντα Od.1.93,al., Hes.Sc.360: generally ἠμαθόεσσα ἠϊών A.R.1.932. (Deriv. from the name of a river by Str.8.3.14.)
German (Pape)
Rh., ἠμαθόεσσαν ἠϊόνα 1, 932.
Greek (Liddell-Scott)
Ρόδ. Α. 932.
