(sc. ἑαυτόν), rest upon, ἐπὶ ταῖς ἐλπίσιν v.l. in D.19.51; to be contented with, τινί Alciphr.1.38; rely on, rest contented with, τοῖς βιβλίοις Artem.1.12; cf. ἐπαναπαύομαι.    2 c. dat., attend to, POxy.1033.6(iv A.D.).
