   A with hair brushed up on the forehead as the Parthians wore it, τῷ ἀνασίλλῳ κομᾶν Plu. Crass. 24; restored by Sylburg in Arist.Phgn.809b24, 812b35, cf. PGrenf.1.10.11 (iii B. C.).

[Seite 207] od. ἀνάσιλος, ὁ, aufwärtsstehendes, struppiges Haupthaar; so scheint Arist. physiogn. 5, οἷον ἂν ἄσιλον (Bekk.), zu lesen, von dem Haarbüschel über der Stirn des Löwen, aber ibd. 6 hat Bekk. gewiß richtig οἱ τοῦ μετώπου τὸ πρὸς τῇ κεφαλῇ ἀναστεῖλον (A. ἀνάσιλλον) ἔχοντες, ἐλευθέριοι, S. das Vor. Bei Poll. 4, 137 heißt so eine Sklavenlarve aus der Komödie, von dem struppigen Haare so benannt, aber Bekk. hat die v. l. ἀνάσιμος aufgenommen.

ἀνάσιλλος: ἢ -σῑλος, ὁ, μέρος τῶν τριχῶν τῆς κεφαλῆς ὠρθωμένων κατὰ τὸ μέτωπον, κατὰ τὴν συνήθειαν τῶν Πάρθων, τῷ ἀνασίλλῳ κομᾶν Πλουτ. Κράσσ. 24: οὕτω δὲ ἐγράφη ἐκ διορθώσεως τοῦ Σολβουργίου ἐν δυσὶ χωρίοις τοῦ Ἀριστ. Φυσιογν., δηλ. ἐν 5. 8, ἀντὶ οἷον ἂν ἄσιλον, καὶ ἐν 6. 43 ἀντὶ ἀναστεῖλον. Ἴδε σημ. Κοραῆ ἐν τῇ προηγ. λέξει.
