Also with fem. subs.; V. μαινάς, δρομάς; see also foolish. Of things: P. and V. μανιώδης, Ar. and P. μανικός; see also foolish. Mad words: V. λόγοι . . . ἔξεδροι φρενῶν (Eur., Hipp. 935).
