ὡς οὐδὲν γλύκιον ἧς πατρίδος οὐδὲ τοκήων γίνεται, εἴ περ καί τις ἀπόπροθι πίονα οἶκον γαίῃ ἐν ἀλλοδαπῇ ναίει ἀπάνευθε τοκήων → More than all pleasures that were ever made parents and fatherland our life still bless. ὕσσακος: ἢ ὕσσαξ, ὁ, ἑρμηνεύεται παρὰ τῷ Μεγ. Ἐτυμολόγ. 785, 8, καὶ τῷ Φωτ. διὰ τοῦ πάσσαλος, ἀλλ’ ἐν χρήσει εὕρηται ἐπὶ τοῦ γυναικείου αἰδοίου, εἶμ’ ὥστ’ ἀπ’ ὑσσάκω λυθεῖσα Ποιητ. Δωρ. παρ’ Ἡφαιστ. 28· ἀπήλαον τὼς ἄνδρας ἀπὸ τῶν ὑσσάκων Ἀριστοφ. Λυσ. 1001· ὡς φαίνεται ἡ λέξις εἶναι Δωρικ.
