A for having forsaken his προστάτης and chosen another, ἀ. ὀφλεῖν D.25.65, cf. 35.48, Arist.Ath.58.3, prob. in IG2.776.
II ἀποστασίου βιβλίον = writing or bill of divorce, LXX De.24.1, Ev.Matt.19.7, Ev.Marc.10.4: so ἀποστάσιον Ev.Matt.5.32.
III ἀποστασίου συγγραφή = deed of cession, conveyance, PHib. 1.96.3 (iii B.C.), cf. PGiss.36.21 (ii B.C.), etc.; ἀντίγραφονίου BGU919.23 (ii A.D.); with συγγραφή omitted, especially in phrase πρᾶσις καὶ ἀποστασίου PTeb.561v (i A.D), etc.
