κορασίου, τό (diminutive of κόρη), properly, a colloquial word used disparagingly (like the German Mädel), a little girl (in the epigram attributed to Plato in (Diogenes Laërtius 3,33; Lucian, as. 6); used by later writers without disparagement (Winer s Grammar, 24 (23)), a girl, damsel, maiden: Epictetus diss. 2,1, 28; 3,2, 8; 4,10, 33; the Sept. for נַעֲרָה; twice also for יַלְדָּה Esther 2:2)).
