7) med. казаться, представляться: τοῦτο τί μοι κάλλιστον εἴδεται εἶναι Hom. это кажется мне превосходным;
8) med. делать вид, притворяться: εἴσατ᾽ ἴμεν ἐς Λῆμνον Hom. он сделал вид, будто направляется в Лемнос; εἴδεσθαι φθογγήν τινι Hom. подражать чьему-л. голосу;
9) med. уподобляться, быть похожим (εἰδόμενός τινι Pind., Aesch., Her.);

11) pf. = praes. быть сведущим, уметь, мочь: τόξων εὖ εἰδώς Hom. прекрасно владеющий луком; οὐδὲν ᾔδει πλὴν τὸ προσταχθὲν ποιεῖν Soph. он умел лишь исполнять приказанное; προβάλλεσθαι δ᾽ οὔτ᾽ οἶδεν οὔτ᾽ ἐθέλει Dem. оказать же сопротивление он и не может, и не желает;
12) (о чувстве благодарности и т. п.) чувствовать, испытывать: φίλα εἰδότες ἀλλήλοισιν Hom. связанные взаимной дружбой; χάριν εἰδέναι τινί Hom., Her., Xen., Plat. питать чувство благодарности к, быть признательным кому-л.
